After returning home for 24 hours, to wash and repack, we headed out to the Carroll family reunion. Our first stop was Albuquerque, New Mexico. We rode the Sandia Tram. It was crowded on the way up, but it was a gorgeous view from all angles.
(my blogging skills are not up to par these days. Please excuse the out of order pictures. I am too tired to fix them)
World's largest tram!!!
We visited the Sand Dunes National Monument.
It was bloomin' HOT!

It may not look like much, but THIS pool is neither salt nor cholorine.
It is a geothermal pool and comes out of the ground
at 113 degrees and cools down to 104 degrees.
Almost too hot to swim in, but can you imagine swimming
in that with it snowing outside?
Zoe found the new puppies. Big Surprise.
We stayed in South Fork, Colorado, in a cabin. The country club was up the hill and provided some fun entertainment for the kids and adults.
Jim and the girls on the porch of the cabin we stayed in.
The original gate at my dad's house he grew up in. (Alamosa, CO)
The irony of the sign.
Named after my Grandfather Harold Carroll.
Zoe on the lavender bench in Creede, Co.A new friend!
The back door didn't lock, so Grandpa thought this might work.
The view on Main Street in Creede, CO.more pictures to come and relive it all again when I get my sister's photos

Looks like a lot of fun.
That pool is so cool!
Thanks for bringing the kids out last week esp. after all your travelling. ;)
We didn't have to pay to stand on two equators in Africa---but boy that plane ticket to get there was awfully pricey. Great pictures. Love, mamajoanne
Okay, cool sand dune pictures. What great memories you've had this summer. Wish we could have been at 4 Corners together! (Kind of funny we were both there this summer - too bad not at the same time.)
Glad I could finally catch up with all your travels. Sounds like it was a lot of fun!
